FCC S.A. wins a prize for the Energy Transition Solution of the Year at LARTC 2025

It’s with great pride that we announce that Fábrica Carioca de Catalisadores S.A. (FCC S.A.) was acknowledged with the prize “Energy Transition Solution of the Year” for its product ReNewFCC^TM, at the Latin American Refining Technology Conference 2025 – LARTC. This success strengthens the path of more than 40 years of innovation, excellence and commitment to the South-American refining industry.

ReNewFCC^TM is a catalyst solution developed for renewable raw materials co-processing and processing, with an indispensable technology for the refinery’s strategy towards energy transition and sustainable future construction.

Recently, the product also featured a historical milestone: the first time ever of 100% soybean oil processing in a test performed at the Refinaria de Petróleo Riograndense (RPR) with ReNewFCC^TM. This achievement demonstrates not only the efficacy of the product, but also the technological innovation potential offered by FCC S.A. to the sector.
