FCC S.A. supports the Ilumina Zona Oeste cultural project

FCC S.A. supports initiatives that widen access to culture and promote the development of the territories where it exerts its activities. One example is the sponsorhip of the Ilumina Zona Oeste (Western Zone Lightening) project, performed through the Culture Incentive Bill, that in 2024 promoted the Ilumina Festival having a program related to literature and cultural diversity valorization in the Rio de Janeiro western zone. 

This year’s edition celebrated the World Book Capital city title and counted on activities in public schools, libraries and cultural spaces, connecting authors from various origins. The closure was marked by a literary fair and cultural presentations at the Jacob do Bandolim Arena, in Jacarepaguá. 

The Ilumina Zona Oeste project integrates civil organizations, cultural entrepreneurs and local artists, contributing for the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). FCC S.A. is proud of its contributions to projects leading to positive social impact and widening access to art and culture in less investment neighborhoods.
