In another initiative focused on social responsibility and community well-being, the Fábrica Carioca de Catalisadores S.A. (FCC S.A.) donated an ambulance that, after fulfilling its role in the company’s internal operations, gained a new purpose: to continue providing care, comfort and dignity to those who need it most.

The official handover took place on October 2, 2025, in a moment marked by emotion, gratitude and solidarity. The vehicle was donated to Instituto Rope, a non-profit organization that fulfills wishes and provides meaningful experiences to people whose lives are threatened by serious illnesses.

The donated ambulance will be used by Instituto Rope in its social initiatives, enabling the safe and humane transportation of patients who dream of experiencing special moments, such as reuniting with family members, participating in celebrations or revisiting meaningful places from their personal histories.

“With it, it will be possible to fulfill dreams that once seemed impossible, offering the chance to experience unique and emotional moments, fulfilling the simplest wishes and valuing the sacredness of each person. Imagine someone who, due to physical limitations, could no longer leave home but dreams of seeing the ocean one last time. Thanks to the ambulance, this wish becomes reality: with safety, comfort and the necessary support, this person can feel the breeze, hear the sound of the waves and reconnect with deeply emotional memories. In addition, the ambulance will enable patients to participate in important family events, such as birthdays, weddings or special gatherings that, without this support, would be inaccessible. These are moments that strengthen bonds, bring joy and contribute to the emotional well-being of everyone involved. The donation of the ambulance has opened paths for love and solidarity to reach places that were once impossible to access”, highlighted Roberto, representative of Instituto Rope.

Based in Bonsucesso (RJ), Instituto Rope works in partnership with institutions such as INCA, the Hospital dos Servidores do Estado, Lar de Frei Luís and Clínica Renal Vida, among others. Its work is guided by the mission of transforming small wishes into great gestures of affection, hope and humanity.

With this initiative, FCC S.A. reaffirms its commitment to contributing to a more caring and supportive society through actions that promote the well-being and care of all people.
